Raymond Cahow built this business the old-fashioned way. He didn’t sell paving, he built relationships. While Ray remains active in the business to this day, after 20 years, his daughter, Linda Cahow is now president of Asphalt General. Community projects such as schools, churches and community streets and parking areas are still an important part of the business. But today, Linda spends even more time managing large and small commercial, industrial and government jobs. According to Linda, “No matter how large we grow, we will never lose site of the basic principles my Dad established in the early years when he was able to look every client right in the eye, promise superior workmanship for a fair price, and deliver every time out.”
